    Thoughts on Writing~ November 2020~ V

If I could give a piece of advice to my younger self. This is what I would say, ‘Do not compare Yourself or your creations to Others.’

Comparison serves no one. It will steal your joy, stifle your creativity, and limit your beautiful experiences when you live only in the zone of lesser than. You, yes you, came here to do and BE more.

If you want to sing, enjoy it fully. Reach for the high notes, find a good teacher and learn how to breathe.

If you want to dance, find the music that serenades your soul.

Oh, you want to write, to tell stories to the world? Find your voice, dear one, and learn to weave words as beautiful as the finest tapestry. the story guide and surprise you.

Listen to the subtle nudges that urge you to awaken and write down the idea. Attempt the thing that will lead you to what you came here to share with the world.

Discover you. If you admire the work of others, learn from their craft but remember… you didn’t come here to be anyone else. You are here to BE You.

Share your Light brilliantly and unapologetically.

BE the Creator, You came here to BE.

Thoughts on Writing~ November 2020~ IV

We come into this world as a wee babe with eyes that are open to every possibility and so eager to learn.

Often as an adult, it feels as if we have to unlearn what we have been taught or to find new ways to shift our perception.

As a writer, each lesson and every new layer of this journey that I discover gives me more to draw from with my characters and story.

My characters are not known to me before I begin to write but they soon reveal themselves through dialogue and remind me of emotions of yesterday.

The pained experiences assist me in creating roles that are well-rounded and somewhere along the way there is a healing process that envelopes the past moments.

Being a Creative continues to enrich my journey and it is my intention that it will also assist my Readers in theirs. Art and life create a beautiful dance together.

BE the Creator, You came here to BE.

Thoughts on Writing~ November 2020~ III

Have you ever met someone along your journey that deeply knew their Value and their Worth?

They were unapologetic for the cost of their service or art that they created and provided to the world.

It is also important to note. This deep Knowing wasn’t from a space of ego, pride, or arrogance. This energy never entered into the conversation.

I can count on one hand the individuals I have met with this deep understanding of not only their value but also the value Of others.

I have witnessed fellow artists give their gifts away to others for free or for very little. Often they expect other artists to do the same.

I think it is very important to let the Universe know what you deem is your value and that we give that same respect to one another.

If we are going to create a world with our gifts and creations, our actions and conversations need to mirror our vision of being a master creator.

Let us place value on the words we share with the world. Let us ensure that our creations and actions are a reflection of our true value and worthiness.

BE the Creator, You came here to BE.
